This is a sealed two-way speaker that utilizes two of our proprietary new Variable Aperture Transducers (VATs), and our proprietary new 5.25" (13cm) bass/midrange driver. The result is a VeriSmall™ system that delivers stellar sonic realism, unparalleled off-axis response and accurate timbre over the full frequency range throughout the room. The 5.25" bass/midrange extends frequency response down to 50 Hz (-10dB point) in free field– even better in typical room corners. And for those who prefer even greater bass extension and impact, this system should be paired with our S48 FastWoofer, as pictured, for an awesome musical experience that delivers powerful bass down to 20 Hz (-3db point). The S48 has an internal amplifier, balanced and unbalanced inputs, and features four of our proprietary 8" (20 cm) long-throw drivers using our FastWoofer technology (patent pending).
